Newly relegated side Mount Kenya United (MKU) finally recorded their first win in the second tier of the National Super League (NSL) played today.
It was also a win for cash strapped Shabana FC against promoted side Muranga Seal.
Musa Ekal and Joshua Njoroge were on target as MKU beat Coast Stima 2-0. Joshua Ooko scored first for power men in the 26th minute against their hosts to go into break 0-1 up.
But Ekal leveled for MKU in the 62nd minutr before Njoroge sealed the victory two minutes latter.
In other match, Shabana recorded the similar score against promoted side Murang’a Seal. Abou Traore broke the deadlock with 11 minutes into the match for the hosts before Wilson Kamau equaled in the 41st minute and Philbert Ochieng scored the winner.
