Returning into Kenya Cup, Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA)’ Monks and technical University of Mombasa recorded victories at the ongoing Varsity League rugby15s.
Taking advantage of home ground, hosting the third leg of the league, the Monks were 30-18 winners against Maseno University on Saturday.
The national league begun a fortnight ago where Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) hosted the event followed by Meru University then CUEA and next weekend, Maseno University will be hosting.
TUM side Marines defeated KRU championship side Kabarak University 31-11 as University of Nairobi’s Mean Machine beat Meru University 45-26.
