Aburi Morang’a and Faith Bett reigned supreme in the fourth round of the Nyamira Great Run Series held today at Kiendege secondary.
Morang’a won the men’s title in 29:51.28 ahead of Felix Boera who was second timing 29:32.29 with Richard Atuya completing the podium 30:19.29.
Enock Onchari (30:29.15), Evans Mayaka (30:34.81) and Stephen Arita (30:41.07) were in 4th to 6th positions respectively.
In other positions, Dickson Simba (31:03.48) and marathoner Sammy Nyokaye (31:26.93) finished 8th and 9th respectively.
In women, Bett won the title when she clocked 36:15.52 beating Teresa Omosa to second place in 36:50.31 with Christine Oigo was third in 37:14.41.
Gladys Otero (38:12.15) and Tecla Nyabuto (39:21.94) and Doris Omari (39:98.41) completed the top six places.
