Morans, the Kenya national men’s basketball team set a sweet revenge against Angola in the ongoing Afro-basketball qualifiers in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
In a do or die match, Morans started slowly but gained the grip to in the second game to win in 74-73 to qualify for Afro-basketball tournament.
The historic win, which Morans fought to the last second for victory, means Kenya cannot finish below third place in Group B of the Afrobasket qualifiers.
The win was a consolation for Morans who, on Friday they lost 69-51 to Senegal in the opening match of the qualifiers.
It was a sweet revenge for Morans who had lost to Angola during the opening round in Kigali Rwanda going down 83-66.
