Too much rain pounding in the country has forced Kenya Rugby Union to change kick-off time for Kenya Cup and KRU Championships matches this weekend.
The kick-off time has moved one hour earlier, from the normal 16:00 hours to 15:00hours in the 7th fixtures.
The Statement read “ “The prevailing rainy conditions engulfing large parts of the country have forced a change in kickoff times across all fixtures on Saturday 7 December 2019. This includes Kenya Cup’s Ngong Road derby between eternal rivals Resolution Impala Saracens and Kenya Harlequin originally set for 6.00pm at the Impala Club,” reads a statement by Kenya Cup.
“As a result, Saturday’s Kenya Cup and KRU Championship fixtures will all kick off at 3.00pm while the Eric Shirley Shield reserve league fixtures will now be played at 1.00pm,” it further adds.
