Harambee Stars coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee is optimistic that Kenya will qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup despite droping points in the two matches played so far.
Lying second in pool E behind Mali, who beat Rwanda and drawing with Uganda as stars drew against Rwanda and Uganda will face Mali in Morocco.
Speaking after the team landed in Kenya today morning from Kigali, Rwanda where they played to a one-all draw against Rwanda, Mulee said the two consecutive draws Kenya has slim conviction that the Stars will ultimately shine en route to Qatar.
“We are still in the race because it’s only two games played so far. We next play Mali in Morocco and that’s the game that will determine which way we go,” said Mulee.
