Mwamba Women are the champions of Kenya Cup Women 15s following their victory against Impala Saracens in today’s final match played at the Impala Club.
The champions recorded 15-11 for the title after Janet Okello’s missed conversion handed the champions 5-0 before Terry Ayesa grabbed another try that put Mwamba at 10-3.
Impala returned to the scoresheet with a three-pointer to cut the gap to six points. Diana Omosso’s try off a scrum pushed Mwamba to 15 points.
