Ndiritu beat Gathu for the KGU chairman position

Njani Ndiritu defeated George Gathu to win the Kenya Golf Union (KGU) chairman’s post following yesterday’s elections held at the Muthaiga golf club.

Coming from et Lab, Ndiritu has replaced Peter Kiguru who has served his one-year term at the helm of the union.

Ndiritu will be deputized by the immediate union secretary Philip Ochola from Muthaiga club.

Limuru’s David Ndung’u will be the union’s Honorary Secretary after beating Karen Club’s Collins Ojiambo and Windsor’s Karugu Macharia won the Treasurer post unopposed.

Executive members include Chris Kinuthia (Thika Sports), Francis Wambua (Golf Park Golf), Ndiga Kithae (Thika Greens Golf Resort), Sammy Itemere (Royal Nairobi) Taufiq Balala (Nyali Golf) and Thomas Mwaura (Ruiru Sports).
