Ndungu and Kinuthia elected as KGU chairman and vice

David Ndungu has been elected as the Kenya Golf Union (KGU) chairman unopposed during today’s elections held at th Muthaiga Golf Club.

Ndung’u, who has been deputizing Philip Ochola will now spearhead the union for the next one year.

The Limuru golf club member will be deputized by Chris Kinuthia. Kinuthia from Thika Sports, has been serving as the union’s secretary was also unopposed for the vice chairman’s seat.

Vet Lab’s Brian Akun defeated Golf Park’s Frank Wambua for the post of Secretary. Akun, who been serving as an executive member has been elevated to the secretary of the union.

Karugu Macharia was elected the union’s treasurer
