New track for under 20 championships at KU

Athletes’ village at the Kenyatta University has been laid with tartan track ahead of world under 20 athletics championships.

Today, the Mondo Track and Field engineers laid the new synthetic track ahead of the global junior show set for August 17^th to 22^nd at the Ksarani stadium in Nairobi, Kenya. 

Vincent Onywera, the Registrar-Research, Innovation and Outreach said the new track is a big boost not only to local athletes preparing for international assignments.
