Newly promoted teams Nayuki Starlets and Kibera Girls Soccer Queens will be in actions Kenya women premier League (KWPL) continues this weekend in search for points as the league enters homestretch.
There will be four matches, two on Saturday and two on Sunday with Nyuki and Kibera playing on Sunday.
Kibera will travel to Thika stadium to play Thika Queens at Thika stadium while Nyuki will travel to Eldoret to extend their good run against Eldoret Falcons at The University of Eldoret ground who have been separated by a point apart.
Kibera has collected 16 points from nine matches played, drawing one and losing 3 in position 7 while their opponents- thika Queens has two points advantage after playing ten games, winning 6, without a draw and one loss in position 6.
Nyuki on the other hand has collected 14 points from ten matches, three wins, five losses and two draws as Falcons have played nine matches, a single win, a draw and a win with seven loss.
On Saturday’s other KWPL matches, Makolanders host Kayole Starlets at Camp Toyoyo as Trans Nzoia Falcons hosts Oserian Ladies at Manour Ground in Kitale.
