Aspirants from Mandera, Marsabit, Isiolo, Meru, Tharaka Nithi, Embu, Kitui and Machakos Counties have on Friday, February 13, 2020, submitted their nomination papers to the FKF Electoral Board ahead of the upcoming repeat FKF Elections.
The aspirants had their relevant documents scrutinized by the Board’s secretariat after which acknowledgement slips were handed to those who passed the eligibility criteria as stipulated in the Electoral Code.
“The current Electoral Board have been very cordial and informative during the nomination process,” said FKF Meru County Branch Chairman aspirant who currently serves as the Upper Eastern branch Secretary.
“I plan to set up proper structures to facilitate football development in Meru. One of them being to organize coaching courses in Meru and elevate county league players to the Kenya Premier League,” he continued.
FKF Electoral Board Chairman Kentice Tikolo, meanwhile, noted that the nomination process has been seamless.
“We have ensured robust communication systems to keep the participants well informed on the relevant information regarding the elections. We endeavor to have a smooth process that is free, transparent and fair,” said Kentice Tikolo.
