World cross country champion Hellen Obiri and world half marathon record holder Kibiwott Kandie were the winners of the 2021 Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) cross country championships held today at Moi Airbase.
Sergeant Obiri won the senior women’s 10km title ahead of Joyce Chepkemoi.
It was the same script in men’s 10Km when Kandie of Embakasi Garrison won the title ahead of Collins Koros of Kahawa Garrison and Erick Kiptanui of Embakasi Garrison in third place.
