Rising Starlets will depart tomorrow for the return leg of Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier against Angola on Sunday.
After beating their opponents 6-1 on Monday, Angola will host the return leg on Sunday where the aggregate winner will face either Cameroon or Botswana in the third round of qualifiers.
The Beldine Odemba team wants her charges to develop winning skills to add on their 6-1 win at the Nyayo Stadium.
“It is not over until we play the second round despite having won the first leg with a massive six goals. The players are ready and they know we are going for more goals,” said Odemba.
The team draws inspiration from the senior team’s victory against Cameroon in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
