Former Kenya Open champion Angela Okutoyi has stormed into the quarterfinals of the ongoing J3 Stellenbosch Tennis tournament in South Africa.
Today, the Kenyan recorded her second consecutive win in the ongoing International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Tennis Tour Juniors tournament by beating Kazakhstan’s Zhanel Rustemova in straight sets.
Okutoyi started with a 6-4, 6-2 win over South African Naledi Manyube before beating ranked Rustemova 6-3, 6-4.
She will now be facing off with Czech international Amelie Smejkalova tomorrow in search of semi-final slot.
