Junior double Wimbledon champion Angela Okuotoyi will give the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Women’s World Tennis Tour W15 Monastir as she prepares for W15 Nairobi set for next month.
The reigning Kenya junior champion is set to compete at the W15 Nairobi tournaments at the Karen Country Club slated for November 14-20 and November 21-27 where over three millions shillings will be up for grabs.
Okutoyi will be up against Cynthia Cheruto, and Rosehilda Asumwa will represent the country in the two-week event.
The winner of the tournament will pocket Sh200,000 with the runners-up getting Sh176, 400. Losing semifinalists will go home with Sh88,080 richer.
This will be the third time Kenya is hosting a World Tennis Women’s Tour event having hosted the first event in 2018 and the second event in 2019.
