Ol Kalou people’s park to host next cross country AK meeting

Ol Kalou People’s Park in Nyandarua county will be the next destination for the Athletics Kenya (AK) cross country meeting resechuled the January 2nd.

This comes following the rectification of the annual calendar, which had initially set for January 9th at the same venue in the third and final leg ahead of national cross country championships to be held in Kisii on February 13th where a national team will be picked for the Africa Cross Country Championships slated for March 6 in Lome, Togo.

After Ol Kalou, Kenya Police Service Cross Country Championships will follow on January 15th at the Ngong Racecourse, then Kenya Prisons Service Cross Country Championships on 16th at the Prisons Staff Training College in Ruiru.

The disciplined forces championships will pave way for county Championships on January 16th then Kenya Defence Forces Cross Country Championships on January 29 at Moi Air Base and regional championships on January 30.

On January 9th, the federation will stage the opening leg of the Relay Series at the Nyayo National Stadium.

  1. 2nd January 2021- third and final cross country meeting in Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County
  2. 9th January 2021- National Relays championships- Nyayo National Stadium
  3. 15th January 2021- National Police service cross country- Ngong Racecourse
  4. 16th January 2021- Kenya Prison service cross country- PSTC- Ruiru
  5. 16th January 2021- All counties cross country
  6. 29th January 2021- KDF cross country- Moi Airbase
  7. 30th January 2021- Regional cross country championships
  8. 13th February 2021- National coross country championships- Kisii
  9. 6th March 2021- Africa Cross country championships, Lome- Togo
