Rosemary Olando and Naomi Cherotich scored a goal each when the University of Eldoret (UOE) came from down to draw with Kyambogo University as Eastern Africa University Games kicked off today in Ndejje University, Uganda.
Kyambogo scored first two goals in the first half but UOE head coach Josphat Pilishi made two changes that brought change to team.
He introduced Daisy Chiluyi, who replaced Heykerl Adala and immediately results were realized when Olando sloted in the opener to half the score in the 21st minute and Cherotci leveled the score four minutes later to take a point as they face Busietema University tomorrow.
“We were training and the two substitutions helped the team a lot to earn the point. We want to play well and earn a title from this institution,” said Pilishi.
