Kenyan international Michael Olunga fired a brace as his side Kashiwa reysol edged out Vissel Kobe in the Japanese top league on Saturday.
The former Gor Mahia striker registered back to back brace scores to tally his goals to 21, charging for a Golden Boot.
With his fellow Kenyans beating Zambia’s Chipolopolo in an international friendly, Olunga was the engine for his side where they won 4-1 .
In their last game, Olunga netted another brace against Yokohama FC on October 1.
Fired his first goal in the 20th minute for the opener before Ataru Esaka added the second one for Kashiwa Reysol in the 39th minute before Olunga added his second anf third of the team 44th minute as Esaka registered his own brace in the 52nd minute.
Junya Tanaki also netted a brace for Kobe. He started in the 15th minute and a brace in the 45th minute as Andres Iniesta easily converted a penalty.
