Michael Olunga was on target when Iran came from a goal down to beat Kenya’s national team, Harambee Stars in today’s international friendly match.
Olunga was on target first in the 51st minute for a 1-0 lead but the Engin Firat coached side suarderd chances where Iran came from 1-0 down to win 2-1 at home in a match played at the Azadi stadium in Tehran, Iran.
As kenya dominaed the play, Kenya Police keeper Patrick Matasi again gifted Iran a goal when Mohammed Mohebi shot roled on Matasi out of position to evel then Ramin Rezaeian scored the second to seal the victory.
This was Kenya’s first appearance on the international stage since February last year when the world football governing body imposed a ban due to third-party interference.
