Olunga scores to a golden boot as Reysol lose to Kawasaki

Herambee Stars Striker Michael Olunga scored his 28^th goal of the season despite his side Kashiwa reysol losing to champions Kawasaki Frontale in the J1 League finale at Sakyo Frontier stadium.

With his goal, Reysol lost 3-2 Olunga put Kashiwa ahead in the 14th minute before Yusuke Segawa doubled Kashiwa’s lead in the second half.

But Kawasaki halved through Akihiro Ienaga on 48^th minutes doubled and leveled in the 55^th minute courtesy of Damiao before Ienaga scored the winner.

Despite losing the game, Olunga earned the golden boot with 28 goals ahead of Brazilian Everaldo, who scored 18 goals.

Reysol ended the season in seventh place with 52 points.
