Fresh from winning gold in 100m, Ferdinand Omurwa Omanyala anchored team mates led by Samuel Imeta, Mike Mokamba and Hesbon Ochieng to qualify into the 4x100m final at the going Commonwealth Games.
The quartet of Omanyala, Imeta, Mokamba and Ochieng timed 38.92 as a national record to finish second behind Nigeria in 38.85 seconds
England claimed heat one in 38.48, beating Trinidad and Tobago to second place in 38.84 as Guyana settled third in 39.82 to qualify.
