Africa 100m record holder Ferdinand Omanyala Omurwa has set another national record in 60m Indoor championships.
Despite finishing 4th at the Hauts-de-France Pas-de-Calais, the World Indoor Tour in Lievin, France Omanyala broke his own national record when he ran 6:57, lowering his former time of 6:60 he set during the Metz Monselle Athlelor.
Omanyala finished behind Olympic 100m champion Lamont Marcell Jacobs in 6:50 as Cravont Charleston and Elijah Hall from United States timed 6.52 and 6.57 to finish second and third respectively
But Jakob Ingebrigtsen broke the world 1,500m record at the championships when he won the race in 3:30.60.
