Fresh from winning Kip Keino Classic, the World Athletics Continental Gold Tour, National 100m record holder Ferdinand Omurwa Omanyala won the 100m title at the International Castiglione Athletics, the World Athletics Continental Challenge tour in Italy.
The Stadio Zecchni showdown also saw the Africa 100m record holder, went ahead to finish second in the 200m race at the same event.
He won the 100m in in 10.11 setting the meeting record ahead of Ivorian Arthur Cisse (10.14) and Italian Fostine Desalu settling third in 10.33.
In the 200m, he crossed the finish line second timing 20.50 as his personal best behind Sri Lanka’s Yupun Abeykoon who won the title in a Meet Record time of 20.37.
