Reigning Commonwealth Games 100m champion Ferdinand Omanyala will lead team Kenya at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
The Africa 100m champion won the 100m at 9.86 seconds as Athletics Kenya National Trials came to an end today at Nyayo stadium.
The Africa 100m record holder will be the only Kneyan to compete in the 100m after running sub 10.
In the 800m race, former world under 20 800m campion Emanuel Wanyonyi clocked 1:44.09 to win the men’s 800m followed by Alex Ngeno came second in 1:44.21.
