Africa 100m champion Ferdinand Omurwa Omanyala has set his focus to compete at the Commonwealth Games following his exit at the World Championships in Oren, USA.
Omanyala, who holds the Africa 100m record failed to proceed to the finals of the championships after finishing 5th in his heat to fail to progress to the finals.
He ran 10.01 second as a Kenyan sprinter suffered a similar fate in Tokyo where he was eliminated in the Semis.
Omanyala is looking to the Birmingham Commonwealth Games with renewed expectations.
