Shujaa started their Safari Sevens title defence on a high note as they made it to the quarterfinal without any loss.

The national rugby sevens team won all their pool A matches to make it easy into the best four heading into the final day on Sunday.
Shujaa crushed United Kingdom’s Apache 42-0, which was a follow up win against National sevens series runners up Mwamba 53-0.
In their last match, Shujaa fought hard to edge out stubborn Namibia 38-12 in their opening match.
In other pool A matches, Apache beat Namibia 28-5 in their opening match as Namibia recovered well to down Mwamba 24-5.
Morans stunned former World Rugby Sevens Series core team Portugal 12-5 to make it to the quarters in Pool C before beating former Africa champion Uganda 19-12.
In other results, Samurai, the 2015 champions, and Spain eased past Emerging Uganda Cranes and Red Wailers 50-7 and 21-14 respectively to storm the Cup quarters.
Samurai had beaten Red Wailers 27-5 while Spain piped Emerging Cranes 24-19 in their opening Pool “B” matches.
