Nandi Bears golf club captain Kenduiwo Mutai will lead other golfers in this Saturday’s Ngao Credit Golf tournament to be hosted on par 72 Nandi Bears golf course.
Mutai said that the course, especially the greens, is recovering well with the onset of the rains.
“We expect golfers from all surrounding clubs to participate in the tournament. The course is in good form hence good results will be posted on the material day,” said Mutai.
At the same he said that there will be fabulous prizes to be won.
“Apart from the tournament, there will be great prizes with plenty of entertainment,” said Mutai as he hopes the sponsors will make it an annual event, with expansion of their business base.
He cited the newly handicapped golfers C. Kipkoech, who won in Eldoret last week, Josephat Murenga and Fred Leting are in hot form will give a healthy competition.
“As much as I praise others, am also in top form. I am in good shape, hoping to win it and close my captaincy on high,” said Mutai who will hand over the captaincy next month after two years of service.
