Home golfer Gregory Ombito fired 39 stable ford points to emerge overall winner of the 15th leg of NCBA Bank Golf series played on par 72 Kakamega golf club today.
Playing handicap 14, Ombito was in firing mood, sinking back to back pars in one par 5, 2 par 4, 4 par, par on three par 3, on four par 5 and five par 3 before dropping two in six par 5, bogeyed on 7th and 8th pars 3 and 4 before completing the inward nine on 21 points.
On a score of 18 points in the second nine, Ombito dropped one in 10th and 11th pars 5 and 4, leveled in 12th par 3 dropped 2 in 13th par 3 recovered well with a par on 14th par 3, dropped one in 15th and 16th pars 4, recovered with another par in 17th and 18th pars 3 and 4.

Rosemary Angote defeated club’s vice chairman Beatrice Shikuku for Ladies winner and runners up on 38 and 37 stable ford points respectively with Jimmy Akhonya and Sanjiv Walia taking home the men’s prize and runners up with the former beating the later on count back.
Fidel Wasike was the junior winner on 27 points as his mother Janet Wasike, coming from Kericho club winning the guest prize on 35 points. As Wasike won the guest prize ladies, Nyanza’s Albert Aojnyo was the men’s winner with 37 points with the overall guest prize won by Julio Omukuta with 40 points from Nyanza.
Immediate captain Jack Songwa won the first nine prize on 20 points as John Muhanji, on 21 points was the second nine winner.
Angote and Evans Manono were the longest drive lady and men winner while Sanjiv was the nearest to pin winner.
