Ongere wins Kenya Seed Golf title in Kenya

Home golfer Justine Ongere carded 46 stable ford points to win the Kenya Seed Golf title series in Kericho on Saturday 12th.

Ongere, enjoying home course played three over 39 in the first nine, sinking the only birdie in hole four par five, after he started with a par on one four. Bogeyed on 2, 3 and 5. He parred on 6, 8 and 9 with a bogey on 7.

The handicap 24 player had a poor show in the outward nine, dropping two shots each in 11, 12, 13 and 16, parred in 16 and 18 and dropped one in 10, 14 and 17 for 12 over 47.

In the second position was Anthony Korir on 42 before long hitter David Biegon completed the podium with 41 points.
