Former Shujaa, the national rugby sevens team player Oscar Dennis has retired from active rugby in the country.
The Kenya sevens playmaker announced on his social media account, Dennis said hanging his boots was one of the most difficult decisions he has had to make.
Dennis was involved in a hit and run accident in November 2020 in Karen, forcing him to seek medical attention in South Africa for a broken leg.
He was also part of the squad that did duty during Shujaa’s victory at the 2019 Africa Cup Sevens. He played 20 matches in the World Series, scoring four tries. He retired at the age of 29.
