After enjoying four games without a loss, the champion lost the 4th game against Michael Gongolo (-50) after he had garnered 395 points on Saturday’s 11 matches and lost to Philip Mutinda in the 9th match after he da collected 437 points with -73 to complete day one on the leaderboard with 472 points.

The two day event ended on a high after losing to Kenya One Allan Oyende on Sunday to complete the tournament with 1013 points.

He said the tournament was good considering that they have been out of competition for a long time.

“It was a good tournament after a very long break. It was not just for the game but players coming together after being away from each other for a long time,” said Outi.

Following the win, Outi was Kenya one with only three losses.

“Winning 15 out of 18 games was not easy because I faced stiff competition but I emerged the champion as we look forward to another challenge in the next encounter,” added Outi.

Gongolo, who won 13 out of 18 games was second with Francis Wachira completing the podium.
