Over 20 taekwondo athletes to be graded

Over 20 taekwondo players are set to be graded once the world opens up for sports in the post coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking during a training session in Eldoret, North Rift Taekwondo founder Jacktone Ratang’a said that there will be grading of many taekwondo athletes in various categories.

“We are training to ensure that our athletes are fit ahead of the championships. This pandemic has let us down but once the world opens up, we have about 20 athletes that are set to be graded to various categories,” said Ratanga.

He added that their training sessions follows strictly the laid down rules by the Ministry of Health.

“we are law abiding citizens and our training is based on social distance as well as putting on maks to ensure that we combat the spread of the virus,” added Ratang’a.
