Kenya Morans, the national men’s basketball team power forward Tylor Ongwae has been recalled into the team ahead of their 2025 FIBA AfroBasket qualifiers set for next week in Tripoli, Libya.
While naming the final squad today ahead of their travel, head coach Cliff Owuor named Ongwae, who turns up for Nairobi City Thunder, who had announced retirement from national duties.
Owuor also named Bush Wamukota and a newcomer Salim Kisilu and dropped experienced players like Faheem Juma, Ariel Ortega and Ariel Okal.
Kenya will take on Tunisia on Friday 21st before facing off with Angola on 22nd and end the pool E match against Guinea.
