Two pairs of brothers Mark and Jeff Mutuku and Michael and Massimiliano Brighetti have been named by Chipu (the national rugby under 20) head coach Paul Odera to take on Madagascar in today’s Barthes Cup semi final match at Hage Geingob stadium in Windhoek, Namibia.
Odera was optimistic that the juniors will qualify to play in finals match on Saturday against the winner between hosts Namibia and Zimbabwe ahead of Junior World Rugby Trophy.
But good news will be on the double pair of brothers-Mutuku and Brightten who will deliver good results.
The overall winner will be taking on the winner of the North competition for Africa’s sole berth at the 2018 Junior World Rugby Trophy.
