Nairobi United will be playing for bragging rights in the National Super League against SS Assad over the weekend.
Following their promotion to the Kenya Premier League as second tier leaders, Nairobi will be seeking to play for fun in their last matches of the league.
With 65 points, United take on Assad that have accumulated 22 points in position 18 from 31 matches.
On 55 points is APS Bomet in second position with 30 matches played are closely followed by third placed Naivas who have accumulated 53 points.
In other events, 3KFC will be taking on 4th placed Fortune Sacco with 51 points are seeking promotion to the top tier league where 3K are placed tenth on 40 points with three matches remaining
Dubbed ‘Mount Kenya Derby’, the match at the Embu on Sunday, a loss to visiting Fortune Sacco will dim their chances of earning a promotion with 3k will be seeking to overturn the 1-0 loss in the first leg.
All top four, except Nairobi, Bomet, Naivas and Fortune Sacco have advantage for promotion.
