Rangers appoints Kamau as head coach

Kenya premier league side Posta Rangers have appointed John Kamau as their head coach ahead of the new season that kicks off next month.

The returning Kamau signed a one-year deal from relegated Mathare United after enjoying a stellar career at Thika United as a goalkeeper before joining coaching in 2010.

He was Mathare’s junior coach and deputised Juma Abdalla before moving to Thika United’s academy before joining Rangers in 2014, replacing Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omolo before leaving in 2018 to KCB then assistant coach at Wazito, deputizing Francis Kimanzi before returning to Mathare replacing Ezekiel Akwana and now back at Rangers.
