Eldoret golf captain Moses Tanui willlead a host of other golfers in Saturday’s Reale Hospital golf Day at the club.
The marathoner turned golfer was confident that the turn-out will be big comparing the fact that there are no golf events in the neighbouring counties after general elections.
“This was not an easy task to get sponsor for the event following the general elections. We are expecting a large show and a competitive golf come Saturday,” said Tanui.
On Thursday, Tanui said 80 golfers had already entered into the draw and he expects more to come for the championships.
“Imagine today (Thursday) we have over 80 golfers who have entered into the Saturday’s draw and we are expecting more golfers from various clubs,” added Tanui.
According to the draw released, Alex Tolgos will be on the tee first at 7:30am together with C. Kimiti, Nilam Shah and I Muasya.
