Golf Park’s Josphat Rono and home player Rizwan Charania are enjoying top of the table at the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships 9KAGC) Pro-Am at the Windsor Golf Club.
In the amateurs, Rono fired one over par 73 to take round two lead with two over par 146 ahead of Muthaiga’s Bhavnish Chandaria by two shots for a total of 148 with John Lejirmah of Kenya Railway Golf Club finished a shot behind Chandaria after a two over par 74 for 149.
Naomi Wafula in 23rd place after a 79 in the second round, while Joyce Wanjiru hit a disastrous 85 to tie with six other players on 19 over par.
In the professionals, Charania fired four under par in a round to take two shots lead against Kenya Air Force Golf Club’s Kevin Mabele.
