Sailors beat Western Jaguars as Masters win in Kenya Hockey league

Sailors handed Western Jaguars their first defeat as they opened their Kenya Hockey Union (KHU) match played today at the City Park stadium.

Jaguars, who began their match today suffered 3-0 on the hands of Sailors ahead of tomorrow’s second match against former champions Kenya Police at the same venue.

Douglas Nyerere opened the score in the 18^th minute before Felix Opola two minutes later and Titus Ngolia sealed the victory in the 38^th minute.

In men’s super league, Mvita X1 drew 1-1 against Nakuru while Wazalendo Masters defeted Park-Road Tigers 2-1.

Dolcan Mugaisi scored for Mvita and ismail Abdulahi secured the draw while Tigers goals were scored by Erick Ochieng and Gideon Kimoge while Erick langata scored a consolation for the rivals.
