Kenya Railways Club’s Samuel Njoroge produced a superlative performance to win Nyali Open Golf Championships, the last leg of Kenya Amateur Golf Championships on par 72 NyaliGolf club today.
The Kenya amateur stroke-play champion played one under 70 in the last round adding on his the final round to beat day one leader Robinson Owiti of Vet Lab to win the title with a total of 218 gross.
Njoroge beat Nanyuki-based Peter Rimui by four shots for the title to be crowned the KAGC series Order of Merit.
Second placed Rimui shot 75 each in the first and second round for a total of 222 just a shot from Vet Lab’s Mike Kisia who fired four over par 75 for 223 while Owiti had 225.
