Amateur golfer Jay Sandhu shocked professional golfers in the opening round of Safari Tour golf series on par 71 Muthaiga Golf club.
Sandhu fire three under par 68 to take round one lead in the final Safari Tour meeting leading Mohit Mediratta with two under 69 ahead of Monday’s second round.
Making his debut in the series, Zambia’s Dayne Moore fired one under par 70 for third, Ghana’s Issah Adams and Malawi’s duo of Visitor Mapwanya and Victor Kachepatsonga.
