Scrabble series heads to Kisumu

Top scrabble Players will head to Kisumu for the second leg of Scrabble Kenya championships at Jumuia Hotel.

Host player who is also the Scrabble Kenya Organising Secretary Tony Ochola said the tournament “We expect a high turn-out in all 3 divisions and competitive leg as players battle for slots to defend ECASA title  in Lusaka over Easter and win gold in the WESPAC championship in Goa – India  this October”

Top seed Allan Oyende of Nairobi and 3rd seed Gitonga Nderitu of Kirinyaga will face a stiff challenge from the Kisumu County Team anchored by Joash Manyasa and Tony Ochola. 

The 2nd seed is Ugandan player Phillip-Edwin Mugisha who leads the delegation from Uganda to attempt to defend his win in Kisumu last year.
