Frenchman Sebastien Ogier reclaimed the World Rally Championships (WRC) the Kenya Safari Rally title that came to an end today in Naivasha, Nakuru County.
Navigated by Briton Vincent Landais, the eight time WRC champion reclaimed the title he won in 2021 at the same place,
Ogier defeated teammate Kalle Rovanperä for the title leading a 1-2-3-4 finish for Toyota Gazoo Racing after beating GR Yaris team-mate Rovanperä in the closing stages.
Elfyn Evans rounded off the podium while Takamoto Katsuta completed a Toyota clean sweep at fourth overall.
Ogier celebrated his 58th career and was received by President William Ruto at the Fischer Tower which marked the end of the Wolf’s Power Stage at Hell’s Gate.
