Reigning champions Senegal will be taking on double champions Morocco as Sudan play Madagascar when African Nations Championships (CHAN) tournament enters semifinals tomorrow.
The two matches that will be played in Uganda and Tanzania comes after three co-hosts nations Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda were eliminated at the quarterfinals over the weekend.
Lions of Teranga, Senegal defeated hosts Uganda Cranes 1-0 at the Mandela National Stadium courtesy Oumar Ba.
Atlas Lions also defeated co-hosts Tanzania by a solitary goal in Dar es Salaam with a goal from Oussama Lamlaoui.
Ugandan capital Kampala will host Senegal vs Morocco match at 2030hours before Tanzania hosting the Sudan vs Madagascar encounter at 1730 hours.
Sudanese’s Falcons of Jediane, edged out Algeria on penalties in Zanzibar after a tense 1-1 draw and extra minutes while the The Barea stunned hosts Kenya on post-match penalties at Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi.
The winners will advance to the final on Saturday, 30 August at Kasarani in Kenya’s Capital, Nairobi.
