Seven new teams registered ahead of Kenya Handball league

Seven teams are expected to join the top flight Kenya Handball Federation Premier league set to start later this month.

According to the insiders, 2023 season, five teams and two teams for men and women respectively have registered in the league that is scheduled to kick off on July 22nd.

With the addition of five teams, the men league will now have 20 teams in the no promotion or relegation league.

In men, Wakanda Boys from Kimilili will join as well as Strathmore University’s alumni team called Water Bucks, Hunters from South B in Nairobi, Highway high school, Daystar men and Buccaneers Junior, National Youth Service (NYS) which is making a return.

In women, NYS Ladies’ is back as well as Mountain Queens from central region joining.

At the same time, Nairobi City Council (NCC) may miss to return to the league.
