Shabana cement top position with a win against MCF in Kisii

Shabana FC defeated Mully Children’s Family (MCF) in a postponed National Super League match at Gusii Stadium ahead of their two final matches.

The Sammy Okoth coached side won 3-1 and they will need one point to win the second tier league following their promotion into the Kenya Premier league next season.

 Shabana will be facing off with second placed Murang’a Seal on Saturday’s penultimate match before playing Kisumu All Stars for the title.

Isaac Otieno scored first for the hosts in the 10th minute before John Ochieng leveled in the 12^th minute.

Shabana’s goalkeeper Mustapha Oduor converted from the spot for a 2-1 lead substitute Nehemiah Onchiri sealed the victory for the leaders where the victory cemented their top position on 70 points.
