Former New York City marathon champion Sheila Chepkirui successfully defended her Nagoya Women marathon title held today in Japan
To mark the International Women’s Day, Chepkirui ruled the streets of Nagoya, winning the race in 2:21:25 ahead of Japan’s Sayaka Sato for the second year running when she crossed the finish line in 2:21:56 with Ethiopian Aynalem Desta completing the podium in 2:22:37.
