Fresh from anchoring national team Harambee Starlets to win the CECAFA Senior Women Challenge Cup in Tanzania, Cynthia Shilwatso scored a brace for Vihiga Queens to beat Trans Nzoia Falcons in their last Kenya Women Premier League match in Kitale.

The win was good for Vihiga county team as they won the KWPL hat trick following their 1-2 victory against their hosts.
Vihiga had already won the title before the last match in Kitale and remains the only team to in the women’s top-flight football in the country to win the title three times in a row.
Joan Wanjala scored first for the hosts in the 28th minute but Shilwatso levelled two minutes later before sealing her brace and giving the visitors a win in the 37th minute.
