Shujaa, the national 7s team failed to advance into the Main Cup quarterfinals in Dubai, the opening round of the HSBC World Rugby 7s series in Dubai.
The Kevin Wambua side lost the opening fixture 24-19 to Olympic champions France, went ahead to beat South Africa 22-17 and lost the last pool match to Australia 31-14
Following the loss, Kenya finished last in their pool with four points, missing out on a top-eight finish.
